Our Second Grade, 7 and 8 year old, Wolf Scouts practice respect our outdoor environment through the use of The Outdoor Code and Leave No Trace principles, perform community service, display their communication skills, learn hiking basics, and hone their dexterity with physical challenges. They are given the opportunity to develop an interest in coin collecting, air powered crafts, mathematics, hobbies and collections, understand how disabilities present different daily challenges, archeology, mapmaking and orienteering, microbiology, horticulture, recognizing local everyday heroes, building functional models, practice physical fitness, and develop an understanding of how water is a precious resource.
Our husband and wife leadership team for the Wolves consists of Joe Harrell and his wife, Casie, who joined our pack last year as the incoming Tiger Den leadership. Joe is a LIFE Scout and Casie is an enthusiastic den mother. Both are committed to seeing their den complete the Cub Scout program and join Boy Scouts. Joe has recently agreed to further help the pack as Assistant Cubmaster for those times when our Cubmaster is indisposed.
